McFarlane Toys - DC Multiverse Batman (Detective Comics #27) 7in Action Figure

Im not crazy about Todd's 7 inch scale line, but there are a few must haves--this is one of those. The figure is an accurate depiction of a throwback. The cost is okay (better than it will be soon enough I'm sure) and the details are up to par. Articulation is alright, but I always feel like the multiverse leaves a lot to be desired. This guy will last on my shelf for a long time, as I'm sure there will not be a replacement for it any time soon.

I love this suit overall. The ears are intimidating and blend into the cowl beautifully. The sculpt is amazing on the whole figure. I also see no issues with the paint applications. The addition of the wired cape is one of the best improvements they could have made; it works perfectly and is easy to style. The detail and articulation on this figure are hard, if not impossible, to beat at this price point.

Pair this with a detective comics first Batman appearance reproduction (or if you are rich enough to own an original) and you have a great display.

Some deep cuts on the wrench aside, this is a fantastic figure for the price point and beyond. A great representation of the original depiction and great use of existing tools.

A great figure that is a nice representation of the first appearance of Batman. The main issues with the figure is the very limited head articulation and some of the hands swap outs having too many wrinkles. The paint is great and the wire cape is spectacular.

There have been many first appearance Batman figures. All of them in their own way very good. This one is no different in the fact that it is good, the way it is different is the up dated articulation and the soft goods cape. A nice addition to any collection.
