Compostable Bags for Kitchen Compost Bin, 1.2 Gallon, 125 Count, Certified by BPI and ASTM, Leakproof and Odor Control

Since my area started requiring organic food scraps to go into the green waste bin, I've been using these bags inside a tabletop container, and they've worked really well right from the start. Even though this was the first product like this I tried, I've already gone through several boxes because they perform reliably.They hold up well – no tearing in the wrong places – and they fit my countertop trash container nicely without falling apart or slipping down. I appreciate that they can stretch a bit when needed and tie securely at the top. Being compostable is essential, of course. I like thinking that they offer a clean, neutral way of keeping the food scraps contained until it's time to transfer them to the main green waste bin for collection. Really happy with this product; I buy it now and will continue to do so.

Perfect size for small bin- perfect for poop scooping’ the litter box and not having to waste a ton of plastic bags. They are like twice the size of a doggie bag-so they are small but still fit a bathroom trash can. I feel better using these! They are well made and I’ll be buying from now on.

These compost bags are really nice. Fits perfect in my little indoor bin thats on my counter. They make it easy to just tie it up, & put in my bigger compost bin outdoors. Yes, I would recommend!

Love that I was able to find compostable bags in plastic-free packaging. Fits our kitchen compost can well and easy to tear at the perforated line. I wouldn't say that they're leak-proof since my husband says it's a "leaker" each time he takes out the compost, but we usually only have to empty it 1-2x per week; it has quite a few very moist items in there like coffee grounds and cleaning wipes. But he takes the whole can outside, so it's not a huge deal. It often happened with our previous bags as well, but I like the ease of this box better. Will buy again!

These bags are the perfect size for my compost bin. I love the handles that are attached so there is no more twisting and trying to tie the ends.Great value and easy to use. Will buy again.

The best! Thank you for making these bags as they are perfect for storing leftovers for compost. You’re doing your part and helping us in recycling. Haven’t had any problems with them tearing and the quantity is perfect.

I am very happy with this product. The box is small and the bags come out easily, so it takes up very little space. The bags are stronger than most, so there is less tearing and leaking. I have lived in California and Portland, OR (when Portland actually cared about its trash), and have gone through many bands. This is now my go to.

I’ve been using these bags for over a year now and have been pleased with the product. However this batch has some major issues with the bags breaking and splitting when placing them in the trash bin. I thought at first it was just my husband being rough with them however we have tried so hard to be gentle every time we place a new one and each time they break. I don’t know if you’ve changed how they were made but they are brittle and when stretched they split. I’m hoping we just got a bad batch and the next case is good however if this continues we will be looking for a new brand of bags.
