Energy saver
I purchased 2 units for two rooms in my home. The cost was reasonable and I was honestly tired of spending 800 a month on using my air conditioner just to cool down two rooms upstairs. I now only run the air conditioner when I want the downstairs cooled down which has quite literally slashed my electric bill in half.Pros:Size , doesn’t stick out much creating an eyesore outside.Cools down the room quicklyNot very loudCons:Very basic and doesn’t auto shut off when hitting a certain temperature.Overall it does exactly what we needed it for.

Great AC for the cost!! If you have a small apartment this is all you will need.
Awesome AC, I’m so pleased that this was the one I picked. I had bought a portable AC that was 8000 BTU thinking it would be better for cooling my apartment. It ended up being terrible and could barely cool down my room. So after returning that I decided to give this window unit a try. It cools down my entire 600 sqft apartment. I just have this unit in my bedroom I keep the door open and it keeps my whole apartment nice and cold. It’s over 90 here today, I just walked in through the front door and instantly felt a blast of cold air, and my room is on the other side of the apartment so it’s definitely keeping the whole place cooled down. That’s keeping it 67 on eco mode too. Best AC I’ve ever owned to be honest, very very happy with the purchase.

Definitely cools my room, but a little louder than I hoped (video attached)
The media could not be loaded. So this product does do what it's supposed to do and that's cool my room very well. It was relatively easy to install, I put it together with the manual and installed it myself in a few minutes. Took at little while to get used to the settings but I eventually figured it out. It has a high/low fan setting and a high/low cool setting on one knob, as well as a separate knob for how much cooling you want the unit to do (you can choose between 1-7).I've closed my door and windows and set it to high cool and the max cool setting (7), and my room temperature went from 81 degrees to 73 degrees in about 45 minutes (photos attached). On the same settings I think I went from 84 to as low as 66 after probably 2 hours a few days before writing this review. Also, my room is pretty much a square. I believe the walls are all 12 ft long and 8 ft high. Definitely measure your room to make sure you're getting the right size AC for it. This unit says it cools up to 150sq ft, so measure the length of 2 walls and multiply them to get your square footage. Mine are all 12ft long so 12*12 = 144sq ft.Depending on the temperature outside I either keep my 2nd window closed if it's the same temperature or hotter outside or I might open it if it's cooler outside. If it is cooler outside than it is inside (like at night) then you can just turn on the fan, which I believe will push fresh cool air from outside to the inside of your room instead of running the AC's cooling unit. I use my phone to check the outside temperature and then have a cheap battery operated thermometer that sits on my desk inside my room to tell me the inside temperature.I've attached a video so you can see and hear the unit for yourself. Only reason I am giving this 4 stars is because of the noise. It's doesn't make a whiny noise nor does it sound like anything is mechanically wrong or broken, it's just that the fan is louder than I expected, even for the lower setting. I kind of wish it had one more setting where the fan was running at about half it's current lowest setting to maybe cut down on noise a bit more. But it's nice that I can crank it to high cool and the max cool setting and close the door/windows and leave the room for a bit, then when I come back I can turn the fan and settings down for a bit and be nice and cool. Sometimes it gets so much cooler that I even have to throw on a hoodie. One more note: I also run a gaming pc in my room which drastically affects the temperature, so these newer temps with the AC are while my pc is on and running. Without that the AC unit probably can cool a room of a similar size even easier. But again, other than the loudness of the fan it does work very well.

Feels like Antartica
This is the best little unit! This thing is powerful. My main AC was set to 75, but this has the thermostat at 70 (and I don't even have it on the highest setting). My main AC struggles on the really hot days to keep up, because I have to get new attic insulation. Since I don't have the money for that right now, I got this little unit to help keep it cool and to stop my main AC from running constantly and working so hard and it absolutely has done the trick! Would not hesitate to buy again.

So far so good
This Midea window AC is very efficient, and cools down my bedroom within two minutes. It’s not as quiet as I thought, but the noise is tolerable. I have no idea how long the AC will last, so far so good

Ac for small room
Good for small room and if wiring in house is old otherwise breaker may keep popping if using 8000 btu or higher,5000 btu is good because there may be other devices like tv,stereo, dvr being used

Great value
Very light so easy to install for one person. I bought this to keep my house cooler with this Texas heat I do haven central ac but this has saved me so much on my electric I use it in my living room and my central ac barely has to kick on. Totally recommend!

Does its job, maybe a little screwy to set up though
Fairly easy to put together, though it feels like some of the screw holes aren’t quite the right size; it felt like they wouldn’t screw in very tight at all for the top bar that’s meant to hold it in the window, so I do worry a little about stability there. The side panels also are a little bit finicky to work with, but maybe that was user error. Regardless, it gets the job done. I have one in the bedroom, and it manages to cool the majority of the rooms on that floor fairly well, so a single unit could be perfectly viable for a smaller home or apartment. It is definitely NOT quiet, but it’s an air conditioner, so that’s to be expected!
