In the name of self-preservation, 2-3 years ago, I began storing tap water in thoroughly washed out former milk gallon jugs "just in case". Additionally, as a precaution, I thought it best to have water purification tablets on hand as needed for drinking water. To date, such emergency has not occurred, but am comforted knowing these tablets are on hand to purify my drinking water in the future. No tablets are needed for cooking, washing dishes, laundry, etc. Great to take camping, too! So, no need to use these tablets to date. Helen G. -- 6.27.2025

WATER PURIFICATION TABLETS WORK!With all the natural disasters becoming more prevalent and severe, fresh drinking water being the #1 necessity, these tablets are an absolute must to have. They clear water to drinkable within 30 minutes or less in a 5 gallon container (this is from my own personal experience using these tablets). Compact in a durable little bottle kept in a safe place. Giving 5 star because it is inexpensive for an emergency supply. Store in car and hope to never have to use. I did research reviews, and others seem to think they work well using water from a stream without getting sick.

There is no aftertaste. The wrapping could be easier to take off.

My husband uses these to keep the water clean in his 5 gallon water jug on his work truck. He says these work great, leave no taste and keeps the algae out.
