I have an older home that does not vent outside. It vents into the garage. Previous owner did nothing to prevent the snowstorm of lint in the garage from drying clothes. I cleaned everything up and installed this product. Absolutely the best thing I’ve done so far at the new home. Works great and prevents everything in the garage being coated with dryer lint. I crack the garage door when running the dryer to prevent the humidity and heat build up. Other than that, it’s works flawlessly. The materials used are cheap and flimsy. But the product works

I bought this because I live in apartment and the duct heading out of the building is blocked, which caused my last dryer to die. I bought a new dryer and did not want that to happen again so I purchased this item. It is fantastic! The room does get warm, however, my laundry dries quickly, and there was no lint in the room afterwards. I would, however, suggest just purchasing this without the dryer vent hose. That was extremely cheaply made and ended up using the one I already had.

The media could not be loaded. This little item got here overnight. It is tiny and very effective. Super simple to put together and install. It does a great job.

My order did not even include mounting screws. I am sure that it is not that easy to change filter. Also in my opinion the idea of a filter sounds nice, but between the fine mesh screen and the rubber filter that’s a lot of restriction. Even slightly clogged you are at risk of reduced dryer efficiency, let alone a fire, in my opinion. Finally it is pretty small, rather flimsy.

This product works great and collects all dryer dust and lent by keeping it in the container, you will need to occasionally put water in the container. It does produce a good amount of humidity so I bought a longer hose and ran it thru the wall to my garage.

This is much better than the box water trap I've been using. It avoids that musty smell and much is easier to clean out. It fits very well in a confined space. I found it to be simple to install and attach to the flex duct. Because of the size, I find I have to clean the filter a little more often than I would prefer. It has been a good addition to my condo.

This was my only option for a home built-in 1954. I've seen people complaining about "moisture" . I have not experienced anything like that. Working great for me.
