It deserves 10 stars. I haven't had a good flat iron like this since I was a teenager. Sometimes the less expensive ones are just better. This one replaces my other one of the same brand that I had for 9 years. The ceramic plate wore out so I needed a new one. The plate size is perfect for my long thick hair. I have waist length hair that is thick and wavy but sometimes I like a straight sleek look.It takes less than a minute for it to hear up. It's got a good weight and at first I thought it felt flimsy but after using it, it feels fine. The digital reader works well and it beeps when it reaches the temperature that's set. It reaches the tips of my head but not too close to burn my scalp and that is very helpful because some thinner flat irons do that. The wire is long enough for me to sit at my bed and do my hair. One thing I noticed once was that my palm got a quick squeeze near the handle where the lock is. So if you have a smaller hand with thin hand palm skin, I suggest being careful that it doesn't get squeezed randomly. I quickly repositioned my hand when it happened and now I know to be careful. It has a rotating wire so it doesn't get curled up.Overall, I am super happy with it. It's perfect for my hair and it didn't pull my hair out at all. My hair feels soft and it looks sleek and perfect. Check out the photo. Great product, Remington always makes me happy.

Works great for the price. My CHI broke. I just didn’t feel like getting a new CHI straightener because I don’t straighten my hair often. I think it’s a great go to buy if you just only use it occasionally and just maybe straighten your hair after it’s been kinked from sleep or a ponytail. The iron heats up quick. I don’t think it’s styles necessarily other than straightened, but I only use it for that reason. The hair looks straight like any other flat iron. For the price it’s hard to point out its defects, but I will mention that the buttons on the side you can actually push them, but it’s really not a big deal. I’ve had more expensive ones that did worse. I have medium length hair and it gets the job done.

I’ve noticed way less frizz, and it doesn’t feel as dry or damaged as it did with other flat irons I’ve tried. Also, it heats up really fast like, in 30 seconds and has adjustable temperature settings, which is great because I can control how much heat I use depending on the style I want or how my hair feels that day.I also like how lightweight it is. It’s easy to use, and my hair actually stays straight all day. I’ve even curled with it a few times, and it worked pretty well for that too!If you’re looking for a straightener that leaves your hair soft, shiny, and healthy-looking without spending too much, I totally recommend this one.

I have thick frizzy semi-curly hair so I like to use a 2" flat iron when I straighten. When my old one finally gave out I ordered this one which I've used a couple times now. It's a lot lighter weight than my previous iron, but it works fine so far and the lighter weight is a benefit for traveling. I am not sure how they infuse the plates with oil, but I don't think they work any different and don't seem to add any additional shine so I feel it's just hype. Overall it's satisfactory for my needs. There are 2 downsides that I've found annoying: 1. The temp always defaults to 370 when you turn it on, it has no memory to keep it on the last setting. I like to straighten at 410 for my hair; 2. The buttons are in a spot where you can easily press them and alter the heat setting while styling, I accidentally turned it up to 450 last time and that is too hot for my hair.

Estoy encantada con mi plancha Remington. Calienta súper rápido y me deja el cabello liso en pocas pasadas, sin tener que usar tanta temperatura. Lo mejor es que no me lo maltrata ni me lo deja seco como otras que había probado.Tiene placas de cerámica (en mi caso) que deslizan muy bien y no jalan el pelo. También me gusta que tiene control de temperatura, así la ajusto según cómo tenga el cabello ese día.Además, el diseño es bonito y se siente ligera en la mano. La recomiendo mucho si buscas una buena plancha, duradera y a buen precio. ¡Me dejó sorprendida!

La mejor plancha que he probado!Desde que compré esta plancha, mi rutina de peinado cambió totalmente. Calienta súper rápido y alisa el cabello en pocas pasadas, sin maltratarlo. Me deja el pelo suave, brillante y sin frizz, ¡como si saliera del salón!Además, es liviana, fácil de manejar y no me jala el cabello al pasarla. Me encanta que tenga control de temperatura, así puedo usarla con más cuidado según mi tipo de cabello.También la he usado para hacer ondas y quedan preciosas. ¡Una inversión que vale la pena si te gusta llevar el pelo bonito todos los días!
