I have used this item one time only and so far am very pleased with it. Like most Seniors, my skin has become thin and easily bruises; mostly during yard work. They fit well and gave the protection I needed during weed-eating. They Velcro straps kept them positioned well. Seem to be quite breathable. So far am very satisfied.Also, arrived promptly and packaged properly.

I love these sleeves!! I am retired and spend most of my time working in my large yard. Even though I try to be careful, it is common for my arms to be scratched and bloody (both above and below the skin) after a day in the yard. I bought another brand of sleeve (leather and with built-in gloves), but they were too bulky and uncomfortable.So, based in the good customer reviews, I purchased these. They are exactly what I wanted: comfortable, not hot, allows me to use my own gloves, and protects my arms well. Highly recommended!

Good quality and fits well. I was afraid they would fall down, but they stay on and in place. They do protect my arms from thorns while gardening. Very glad I bought these.

I have two very prickly plants that make it challenging to maintain without constant scratches.I am glad I did my research before buying as I nicked off from my first 2 options based on reviews.Three reasons I picked these:1. adjustable strap to keep the sleeves up (brilliant!);2. thumb holes; and3. material that would not easily tear or catch.The straps do their job. I think going with straps offers more flexibility for sizing vs a silicone/rubber trim, which may aggravate the skin with all the motion from gardening. (The skin of my arm insides is a tender area.)The straps and thumb holes mean I can tackle gardening tasks without constantly adjusting the sleeves.The material is quite thick. I took my favorite utility knife to the sleeves to see how easily they'd catch or tear. I purposefully dragged the edge & tip, and the sleeves held up extremely well. The last swipe I really dug and dragged the tip - and got the tiniest snag. Very happy with the result as my arm was protected whole time.I then tested them on a plant. Dragon fruit thorns grow in one direction so they didn't always catch, but when they did, my arms were completely protected.I am very pleased with my purchase and look forward to repotting my dragon fruit, a task I have been putting off.Bonus: at 19", I have full coverage for my arms.

I've used these several days while picking raspberries. My canes are thorned. The sleeves work great! My biceps are average but the strap at the top could accommodate just a few inches bigger. They sleeves can get hot on hot, muggy mornings, but not intolerably.

Bought lime green sleeves. Perfect length, fit well. I could feel a breeze through them when the wind blew but they did get a little warm, however did not get bug bites or cuts. I am very pleased.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I needed something to protect my arms when I’m playing with my dog because she grabs and rakes my arms when we play tug a war. Why did you pick this product vs others?:I picked this product strictly due to the reviews. I give this 3 stars because it is somewhat functional. It does protect your arm from cuts and scratches but thorns and sharp sticks will still poke though. The material is very heavy and not exactly breathable. These in black will heat up your arms in the direct sun. I bought the large size and I am a bigger guy with above average size arms I would guess. They are still very small and do not stretch as much as you would think. Like most Chinese made products you wear, these are made for smaller people in general. I will use these for now while I search for some that are better suited for me.
