It is grey with shiny glitter, not grey with black flecks.
It doesn't look like granite. It looks like very light raw Hematite. I added a grey packet from my 50-Color Ixiaoyoo Polymer Clay kit to this to give the turtle skin a more mottled appearance. I expected grey granite to be grey with some black flecks, not grey with fine bright shiny glitter. So I have a sparkly turtle. My #1 hint for working with polymer clay: put the packet under your clothes next to your skin to warm up while you set up your work spot. Or fill a ceramic lidded-mug with hot liquid and put the packet on the lid. If it's Earl Grey Tea or French Vanilla Cappuccino, all the better!

It's Sculpey Premo, y'all!
It is what it says it is. It came in good shape, not dried out or too old to use. After conditioning the clay, it worked the way I expected it to. I would prefer to purchase in person, where I can poke the brick and make sure it is OK. But buying from Amazon worked this time when it was sold out locally.

its really good and you should buy if you need to. the clay is soft and workable. but if you are making a pose-able sculpture then defenently use premo! don't use sculpt ||| for that. :DDDD

"Reconstructive surgery"
My movers smashed Buddha's nose right off. :(I used this clay to make a new nose, then dried it in place with a heat gun. The clay was easy to work with and did pretty well with the direct heat (a little scorch on the nose tip, my bad, but overall looks way better.)
